Magic Playrooms

Services & Investment

One offer. The Design Plan.

Magic Playrooms is a Tampa Bay children's interior design studio. We sell the thinking that makes a room work for real kids — not a product catalog, and not a national kit of parts. Start with a free Studio Call. If we're a fit, the Design Plan is the work.

Primary offer

Design Plan

A complete design for one playroom, bedroom, or family space — grounded in how your children play now and who they're becoming over the next five years. You leave with a plan you can approve, price, and build from.

How it works

Studio Call. Design. Then make it real.

01 · Studio Call

Thirty minutes about your space and your children. We tell you if the Design Plan is a fit, what it costs, and when it is not the right studio for you.

02 · Design Plan

We design one room around who your children are now and who they are becoming — layout, storage, furnishings, materials — down to what sits on each shelf. You approve before anything is ordered.

03 · Make it real (optional next step)

After approval, furnishings and build can move through licensed partners we coordinate, or through partners you already trust using our build-ready package. Design stands on its own either way.

How we design

Four principles. Not a product ladder.

Environment beats organization.

Bins and labels treat the symptom. We design the room so it invites play, limits overload, and makes reset obvious — without you running the system every night.

Who they're becoming, not this month's theme.

Every plan is built around ages, temperaments, and the next five years — not a trend that expires at six.

The child's body comes first.

Reach, sight lines, movement, and how much is visible at once. Style follows those constraints; it doesn't override them.

Beauty and child-function aren't a tradeoff.

A room that works for kids can still belong in a calm home. Fewer things out, honest materials, furniture at the height they actually use.

Investment, explained

Design first. Room costs second.

The Design Plan

What you pay Magic Playrooms for: the child and room study, the layout, the full specification, and revisions until you approve the plan. Earned for the design work — not automatically credited to construction.

Furnishings, materials & build

What the room itself costs — pieces, millwork, finishes, labor. Separate from design, and confirmed before you commit past the plan. Varies by size and finishes, so we don't fake a single brochure total online.

How install works

Magic designs and holds the intent. Licensed partners handle furnishings install, trades, and any construction. We coordinate so you are not left with a PDF and a pile of boxes — and we do not pretend we are the licensed builder of record unless that is contracted separately.

We don't publish design fees or room totals on the site. Furnishings and build vary too much by size, millwork, and finishes. On the Studio Call we'll talk numbers honestly for yourroom — not a brochure figure borrowed from someone else's market.

In every Design Plan

What you get

  • A developmental read on your children — ages, temperaments, and how they actually use the space
  • A full layout and floor plan built around sight lines, movement, and independent play
  • A complete furniture and materials specification chosen for real use
  • A storage system your children can reach, use, and reset without you
  • A growth plan so the room evolves instead of being replaced
  • A build-ready package your partners (or ours) can price and install from — not a moodboard and a shrug

Not sure if it's a fit?

That's what the Studio Call is for. Thirty minutes about your space and your children. We'll say plainly whether the Design Plan makes sense — or point you somewhere better.
